Hara Sklika was born in Athens. She is a PhD student at the Department of Photography and Audiovisual Arts, University of West Attica, already holding an MA in Photography, Research and Methodology. She previously studied Tourism Management in Athens and later Creative Photography at Leica Academy, extending her knowledge with courses at Central Saint Martins and London College of Communication.
Aside from her architectural photography practice, Sklika also runs her own projects with an emphasis on a human aspect. She has published her first photographic album, fruit of her travelogue in Ethiopia. Has served as production director of the Antiparos International Photography Festival. Currently works as Communications Coordinator at Photometria International Photography Festival. Has participated in several photography exhibitions and has had her work and articles about photography published in multiple Greek and international media. Since 2019 she has been an official Fujifilm X-photographer.
